A subtle pink glaze is applied by hand. The glaze is a mix of quartz (silica) and alumina (clay) wihch gives this cup a slightly textured feel. The texture is that of something in-between raw earthenware and smooth porcelain. The cup is dried for two weeks before it is fired at low heat of 1223 degrees Celsius in an electric kiln. It holds approximately 220mL.

Simple and unadorned, our Pale Pink cup evokes feelings of calmness, warmth, purity and tenderness.

'Pale Pink' includes a stamp of our logo on the bottom.
